US man who was arrested after the car accident because of sexual assault on injured woman

A US woman was allegedly raped by a man after she was injured in a car accident, the police said. Instead of taking them to the hospital for medical help, on September 15, 2023, after a car accident had injured her, she attacked the Fort Lauderdale -man sexually.

The 40 -year -old Brenden Lee Jones was arrested last Thursday for sexual battery in connection with rape allegations from a friend. According to Fort Lauderdale's incident report, the alleged victim of the police announced that it was raped around 3100 W. Broward BLVD “somewhere behind the KFC”.

Jones, whom she knows as a drug dealer “Twin”, picked up on this day from a grocery store near the Dillard High School. They were behind them while driving and they suffered injuries, said the woman.

The victim asked Jones and his girlfriend to “take them home if they didn't take them to a hospital”. But they brought them to Jones' house, where she slept in his bed.

According to the report, the woman woke up to Jones, who sexually attacked her. He supposedly said things like “I can do what I want” and “open your damn legs, they made me overthrow my car.”

She told the police officers that she felt “helpless” during this time.

Jones was arrested after his DNA was discovered in rape kit evidence that was processed in 2024.

Records of the Department of Corrections in Florida show that Jones previously had time in prison for robbery and sold cocaine and flight.

By Friday, Jones is behind bars in the Broward Main Jail, where he is recorded on a bond of $ 150,000.
