On Thursday, President Trump organized dinner for the largest investors in his personal cryptocurrency. Demonstrators gathered in front of the golf club in which it took place, and denounced what they called “crypto corruption”, and the nightly hosts stuck their own form of protest in their monologues.

Some of the guests of the dinner told the New York Times that they hoped to influence Trump and ultimately the US financial regulation. Jimmy Kimmel was not reassured by Karoline Leavitt, the spokesman for the White House press spokesman, the reporter said that it was a private dinner, and it was “absurd to everyone that this president benefits from the presidency.”
