Apple reports on its Apple Watch with a camera

At the beginning of this year we heard rumors that Apple worked on a very special Apple Watch that would have an integrated camera. Supposedly it could look at the surroundings and answer user questions in visual intelligence style. Well, apparently that no longer happens.

According to Mark Gurman near Bloomberg, Apple has canceled the work on this clock, infused with camera. The 2027 Apple Watch and Apple Watch Ultra need different functions to tempt people to buy them.

It is unclear why Apple made this decision and Gurman notes that work on the Airpods equipped with camera is apparently not yet complete. The recent rumors claim that they will arrive as Airpods Pro 3 at some point next year.

The thing with the Apple Watch camera is that it is said to be unable to use conventional camera functions -such as photos or facetime. Instead, it would only be to examine the world around you and pass this information on to the user.
