Motorcyclist dies after crash with pickup in SE Austin

Austin, Texas – A motorcyclist died of his injuries at the beginning of this month after an accident with a pickup in Southeast, the police said.

The 28 -year -old Krishna Ghimire was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a pickup at the intersection of the East Riverside Drive and the South Pleasant Valley Road on April 15 at around 10:21 p.m.

Ghimire was taken to a local hospital, where he died on April 23.

The driver of the pickup stayed at the crime scene and, according to the police, worked with investigators.

This incident is Austin's 25th fatal crash of 2025, which leads to 29 deaths.
