Visitation for Lacrosse player from Bay Village, who suffered fatal injuries during the game

Bay Village, Ohio (Woio) – Visits to the Bay High School in the second year, which died after an injury during a Lacosse game, takes place on Friday.

The visit for Dylan Veselic takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center RD in Bay Village.

His funeral will take place on Saturday, May 24th, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Raphael.

The teenager is then buried after the funeral fair in Sunset Memorial Park.

Dylan was injured on May 6th when he played Olmsted Falls High School in Olmsted Falls. Ems transported him from the game to a nearby hospital and was taken to a hospital in the city center with the medical helicopter, where he had emergency operation.

The 16-year-old accidentally died of a blunt craniocervical injury, the medical examiner decided.

After Dylan's death, the sports director of the Bay Village City School District Matt Spellman canceled the rest of the season for the Lacrosse team of the Bay High School Boys.

“Dylan was a great child. He was a teammate, and it was really important for us to notice that he wasn't about himself that he was really a team player,” said Father. Dan Schlegel from the St. Raphael Catholic Church, where the Viselian family belongs.

On May 8, hundreds gathered to remember Dylan at a prayer service in the St. Raphael Catholic Church.

Lacrosse -sticks were placed outside the Multiple Bay Village Homes as a still sign of support for the memory of Dylan and his family.
