Trend dryer for the holiday weekend

Peoria (now 25news) – We will get a break from the bleak weather when we complete the working week and go into the extended holiday weekend. High pressure helps today. It will be a cool start of the day with temperatures in the 40s, since northwestern winds and clear sky drop the temperatures overnight. Expect this morning sunny to mainly sunny sky, followed by increasing clouds for the second half of the day, as the remains of a storm system bring clouds to Central -illinois. Models continued to trend a weekend storm system to the south. As a result, our weekend looks drier and drier. It will be a great Saturday morning for the opening weekend of the Peoria Riverfront Market. A few stray showers will still be possible on Sunday, otherwise our next best rain probability will arrive on Tuesday. The temperatures will slowly heat up with maximum stands by the end of next week.

Dry weather returns and to be expected a little cooler than average temperatures when we go to the holiday weekend.(WEEK)
For the memorial day, dry and slightly cooler are expected than average temperatures.
