Neymar returns from an injury, but his Santos future is doubt – First Post

Neymar returned to the plot on Thursday after more than a month on the sidelines due to a thigh injury, but the Brazilian could not prevent Santos from leaving the Copa do Brasil after lost a penalty against CRB 5: 4.

The former striker of Barcelona and Paris St. Germain had a terrible injury and left the field last month after his second significant injury of the year.

Neymar's Santos Future remains unclear

The 33-year-old returned to his youth club Santos after a stay in Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal. According to media reports, his contract on the Brazilian side ran until June 30th.

Neymar gave away little when he was asked if he would extend his stay in Santos, who pulled with CRB in both legs of her third round.

“I don't know yet,” he said to Amazon Prime.

Santos are currently the second reason for the league after lost six of their first nine games of the 2025 season.
