Neymar returns from an injury, but does not remain safe about the future of Santos

Neymar's return from the injury to his youth club Santos ended on Thursday with a disappointing note after his club was eliminated in Copa Do Brasil in 2025 due to punishments.

The Brazil striker spent more than a month on the edge for a thigh injury and was aggressively mocked by CRB fans in the third round game.

Neymar, who previously played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, had a terrible injury to injuries and let the field last month after suffering his second significant injury of the year.

The 33-year-old returned to his youth club Santos after a stay in Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, whereby his contract was running on the Brazilian side until June 30th.

Neymar gave away little when he was asked if he would extend his stay in Santos, who pulled with CRB in both legs of her third round.

“I don't know yet,” he said to Amazon Prime.

Santos is currently the second reason for the league after losing six of their first nine games of the 2025 season.
