BMW Speedtop concept is leaked before the Villa d'Este -Debückert

The BMW Speedtop concept – a shooting brake that takes on the BMW Skytop – expires in front of the Villa d'Este debut.

BMW may be a bit of show boating in the Villa d'Este with breathtaking concepts (and some not so breathtaking) that sometimes lead to a production model. Like the BMW concept of last year Skytop.

The skytop as a concept was an elegant roadster based on the BMW M8, and just a few months after his debut announced that the skytop would only deliver a limited run of only 50 cars, probably cost around 500,000 pounds.

Now, with the Villa d'Este -Wochen, we will receive the next issue of BMW's “Sky” concepts with a first glance at the BMW Speedtop, a two -door shooting brake that took over Skytop last year and was a bit earlier than planned.

BMW Speedtop Concept interiorThe speedtop looks like a real shooting brake with elegant lines, two doors and still only two seats, long roof, rear spoiler and new two -tone wheels.

Inside, the speedtop looks similar to the skytop – a Titative view of the interior of the BMW M8 – although the palette looks more due.

We assume that it is the same under the skin as the skytop, which means that the 4.4 liter V8 of the M8 616 hp sends to all four wheels, enough for 0-62 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds.

Will the BMW Speedtop go into production? Since the 50-run skytop is apparently sold, the speedtop seems to have a similar excursion.
