Disney+ evaluates the UEFA women -Champions -League rights

Disney+ Has exclusive live streaming rights on the UEFA women champions League Football tournament across Europe in a five -year pact over the season from 2025/26 to 2029/30.

The deal makes Disney+ the sole goal for all 75 games in competition, whereby the reporting in October starts with the new phase format of the tournament's 18 team league in October. All games are streamed live for subscribers through the 2026 final in the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo without any additional costs.

ESPN Deals with production tasks for Disney+and offers multilingual comments and programming before and after the game. The sports network brings four and a half decades of show experience into the project after recently adding reporting on UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League in Denmark and Sweden.

The announcement builds on the existing partnership with the UEFA by the Playmakers Program, which has been set up in 6,300 centers in 46 countries since 2020.

“The UEFA women Champions League is the best in football [soccer] Performance, commitment and passion, ”said Karl Holmes, General Manager of Disney+ EMEA.

In the meantime, Disney+ has started production about “deception” (working title), a live action adaptation of the Volks Naver Webtoon, for exclusive publication on Disney+ worldwide and for exclusive publication Hulu in the USA

Sinnerton was previously a commissioned editor for news and current matters in Channel 4 and commissioned the BAFTA award winner “Myanmar's Killing Fields” and the Oscar-nominated “Für Sama”, while he monitored premium interest and investigative films.

The unit will emphasize partnerships with top documentary film talents and fall back on journalism and the extensive archive of Sky News. Sinnerton said the goal was to “make powerful, emotional films that really combine with an audience” by working with “Great Britain and Ireland's best directors, producers and editors”.
