The former Dougherty County MP was arrested in the study of sexual crimes in Lee County

Lee County, Ga. (Walb) – The Sheriff's office of the Lee County, James Cortez Moss, a former deputy of the sheriff of Dougherty County, arrested in connection with several sexual crimes.

According to Facebook Post from the LCSO, the Special Victim Unit is actively examining the case and requesting the public support the public in the identification of additional victims or people with relevant information.

Moss is exposed to serious charges in connection with alleged crimes against children. The authorities ask for potential victims or witnesses to report to support the investigation.

“The Sheriff's office of Lee County encourages everyone with information about James Cortez Moss to report,” said the department. “Your voice is important and your report could help bring justice and prevent further damage.”

Anyone who may have been affected or has relevant information is asked to contact Lee County's SVU under 229-759-6034.

The Lee County's office for her cooperation and support in the arrest of Moss, who previously worked in her department, expanded his gratitude for the office of the sheriff of Dougherty County.
