Annual event in the Lancaster County Producer shows a busy weekend for wineries

This weekend there will be winery events throughout the region, including music in the vines on Friday and Saturday evening in Cassel Vineyards in Dauphin County, a first Crush Wine Release '70s party in Adams County Winery on Saturday and on Saturday afternoon in the Moondancer Winery in York County.

In Lancaster County, Mount Hope Estate & Winery will organize his aroma flavor on the Renaissance Fair Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday.

The Flavorfest takes place on Rain or Shine on Mount Hope Estate & Winery, which is ½ miles south of PA. Turnpike exit 266 (15 miles north of Lancaster, 14 miles east of Hershey). Tickets are not reimbursable and only valid for the selected date.

Enjoy the sampling with the 26 wineries and nine distilleries that water and have the opportunity to buy your products. Buy with unique merchants of all kinds and get a bit in one of the kitchens on site.

For comfortable purchases, purchased wine and spirits are transported to the designated wine control tent in the parking lot in order to get a simple collection after descents.

In advance, date-specific tickets are required and only available online at www.parenfaire.com. The general entry of $ 24.95 contains a logo tasting glass. Guests between the ages of 12 and 20 are approved for $ 6.95 and children 11 and under commandment free.

Pennlive threw Candace Smith, director of sales and marketing, several questions and received these answers:

F something new about products or event locations?

A, as the Renaissance Faire celebrates its 45th season in Pennsylvania, Mount Hope Winery is proud to present Majesty Riesling's reserve. This refreshing, fruity, balanced wine is packed in a breathtaking sapphire bottle and describes the 45th anniversary and a white screen printing profile of her majesty Queen Elizabeth I.

The warmer weather brought the two summer aromas of Lancaster County Cider Peach Vanilla and raspberry back to Mount Hope. As a result of protective requests, Spirits Distilling Co. brings two new products to the fair site, including Ritter OWL, a coffee liqueur and the coconut rum from Captain Rude.

The Barn & Barrel event room with the existing 200-year inner structure with a view to the modern wine production facility organizes barn weddings, tasting trips, meals for farm-to-table and other events, including picnic for companies, alumni events, holiday celebrations and comedy shows.

The fastest growing use of this room are corporate events such as picnic celebrations, holiday celebrations, improvisation for the workshop on professional development and offer our neighboring companies a place to celebrate their teams.

F, have you added new wines or products in recent years? I think you always had the different series, yes (vinifera, fruit, red, white)?

A, in 2022, published Spirits Distilling Co. a number of cocktails from cocktails in canned food in order to better serve the growing popularity of the cocktail service in the Pour houses at the fair location. The RTDs include The Bees Knie's, a classic Mojito, Peach Tea Whiskey cooler and changing varieties.

Mount Hope Winery is about to rename his popular Mead series, which is previously known as Travelers Mead. The unveiling will be expected later this summer at the beginning of the Renaissance season in Pennsylvania in August.

3, I would have to look back on some of my old numbers … Do you do as much wine as you made? Fewer? More?

A, the winemaker reported that Mount Hope Winery produces a little less due to the closure of three retail stores over several years. Although the nationwide wine consumption is to lower ABV offers after the transition of consumer trends, retail sales in our remaining shops on the Mount Hope Estate and the vine gallery in bird are constant. Mount Hope Peach Wine is still the most popular in the fruit series, which also includes Blackberry, Cherry, Pear, Plum and Raspberry.

F, Beyond FlaFrestfest, do you have the usual big events this summer and autumn?
