Update (4/30.2025, 6:50 p.m.):

The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner identified the woman who died after she was approached by a car when he tried to help people on April 26th.

The 53-year-old Christine V. Gschwind-Wright from Silver Springs was declared dead at the crime scene.

The type of death was an accident. The cause of death was several blunt violent violations due to a motor vehicle – pedestrian collision.

The state police in Nevada take care of the law enforcement examinations in this case.

A woman who stopped to help a driver on Saturday morning was killed after he had been hit by a car that was driven by a driver who suspected that he was under influence.
