Man killed when he went over the highway in Westkansas late Thursday in Western Kansas

Ellsworth, Kan. (Wibw) – A man was killed after he had been hit by a car in central Thursday in Central -Kansas, the authorities said.

The incident was registered on Thursday at 9:35 p.m. on the K-156 Highway, about three miles north of the K-14 Highway. The location was located on the northeastern edge of the city of Ellsworth.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Volkswagen Tiguan was drove west from 2024 to K-156 when he hit a pedestrian who crossed the street.

The pedestrian, who was identified as Timothy Lee Fosdick (63) from Holyrood, was declared dead at the crime scene.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Jose Manuel Quintanilla, 42, from Garden City, should be unharmed.

Passengers Leswin Rafael Rivas Martinez, 37, from Socorro, Nm, and passengers Keylin L. Avelar Hernandez, 25; Mavy Avelar, 2; And Luis Jose Avela, 6 months, all Clarksville, Indiana, were reported unharmed.

The patrol said all the inmates of Volkswagen wore their seat belts.
