Attorney General who submits fees next week

The Attorney General and the Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine has announced that his office will submit criminal charges in two top -class corruption scandals: the Acra Sky Train Project and the National Service Scheme (NSS) Ghost Names Scandal.

The fees are expected to be submitted next week.

In an interview with journalists in Accra on Wednesday, April 30th, Dr. Ayine: “The investigation into the National Service Ghost Names Scandal is well developed. And we will submit charges against some of the people involved in the first week of the week that a few days. ”

Regarding the Sky Train Project, Dr. Ayine announced that investigations have come to the conclusion and have found that 2 million US dollars from the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF) were paid to a company for preliminary work without the GIIF board's approval.

He also mentioned that some Giif board members offered to testify as witnesses to the public prosecutor and consider to offer those who are willing to cooperate.

Dr. Ayine also stated that his office is actively working on other important cases, including the expenditure of the national cathedral project, the procurement of mathematical sets and the senior high school WLAN initiative.
