Texas Longhorns 'Trend' for an official visit with a four-star edge-Rusher

The Texas Longhorns have signed top five courses every year since the hiring of head coach Steve Sarkisian. This past class was the best rated group that he signed as the best of the nation.

However, class 2025 may not be the only class No. 1 that Sarkisian has long signed until the Longhorns for several top 2026 prospects are still in the right direction.

One of the latest was Landon Barnes, who was visiting Austin in the state last weekend, is reportedly said in a few months to return to Texas, according to Sam Spiegelman, the rival.

“I liked it. They came in and showed me love,” said Barnes recently in an interview with Orangebloods about his visit to Texas.

An official visit to the season would be great for the Longhorns and possibly an advantage over the other competitors. As things stand, Barnes has already planned official visits to Ohio State, Ole Miss and Georgia. However, all three will be in June.

Apart from other schools that plan Barnes to visit the season, the trip to Austin could be his last visit to a potential decision. This last journey, when it comes to Austin, could be the time when the Longhorns close barnes and make it to commit themselves or replace them in a potential other school.

Barnes, a star at the Duncanville High School like the current Longhorns Colin Simmons and Alex January, is classified by rivals as a four-star rival, where he is classified as No. 15 Edge Rusher, No. 20 players in Texas and is national No. 154. The Longhorns are apparently seen as the leader to land from Cody Carpentier, who has Futurecasted Barnes to Texas.

Texas begins the season against Ohio State on August 30th in Columbus.
