Arrest in Colorado Hit-and-Run, in which the enthusiastic cyclist Boulder killed, ready to fight “for justice for the victim” to fight.

On Wednesday, Colorado officials announced that a 23-year-old man who was suspected of driving after driving after his car had hit and killed a cyclist in the eastern boulder County.

Dante Johnson was taken into custody on Monday morning in the southern part of the U -ber region of Denver. The deputies of the Douglas County sheriff office took him into custody because of an arrest warrant, which is not connected to the hit-and-run Killed John Wilkinson.

Since this arrest, the public prosecutor's office of the Boulder district has submitted formal charges against Johnson in connection with Wilkinson's death. This includes at least one crime.

The fatal collision took place on Sunday in 95th Street north of the Valmont Road. The SUV authorities believe that Johnson has severely damaged Wilkinson's bike. The SUV was later in Littleton in Clement Park. It was given up.

Johnson is recorded in the Arapahoe County prison. District Prosecutor Michael Dougherty called the case a “heartbreaking loss of life”.

“While criminal persecution is now progressing, our office is obliged to fight for justice for the victim and his family,” said Dougherty.

Wilkinson's family members said CBS Colorado that the 41 -year -old, who recently moved to Boomfield, was an enthusiastic biker who covered hundreds of miles on his bike every week.
