Slo County Airport was closed after the plane crash

The SLO County Airport (SBP) has closed and the emergency crews react after a single -engine aircraft crashed on the runway on Friday morning.

In a position on X at 9:17 a.m., Cal Fire San Luis Obispo (SLO) said that an aircraft at the airport was visible on the plane with fire.

According to Cal Fire Slo, the agency's airport rescue team reacted to put the fire down and check.

At 9:19 a.m., the officials found that two occupants accepted medical care and that the crash rescue team had canceled its reaction.

According to the authorities, an engine and a battalion boss remained on site at that time.

At 9:25 a.m., Cal Fire Slo reported that the Commander incident asked a Hazmat response at the airport to alleviate 90 gallons fuel.

SBP officer announced KSby that the airport was currently closed in the facility due to an “active event”.

Airport representatives added that passengers should check with their airlines according to flight status updates.
