The municipality of Murphy Canyon tried to become normal again on Friday after a small plane crashed through its neighborhood, damaged several houses and injured 8 people on site while killing several people on board.

Families who live in the military living community in San Diego sent their students back to school after a day with canceled classes at Miller and Hancock Elementary. Nevertheless, it was impossible to avoid memories of the Cessna 550 -Jet -Crash in the nearby Salmon Street than the police from the streets and patrolled quarters to preserve the scene for the federal investigator.

These investigators, about 8 with the Federal Aviation Administration and several more with the National Transportation Safety Board, were expected to work all day long on Friday to determine why the plane has dropped. As soon as your investigation has been completed, you would free the remains of the aircraft that were scattered on several streets – a wing on the side of the road, fragments under a powerline.

“There is aircraft everywhere. Our rubble field is very large. That is why we have several blocks that are currently being blocked,” said Dan Eddy, deputy head of the SDFD. “As you would expect, if you come in so big with this amount of speed, you will have a lot of litter that goes in the entire direction.”

There are many questions, but federal officials know that the private jet has prepared to land on board at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport with six people when he met a power line shortly before 4 Amthursday in foggy weather. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration later confirmed that a weather observation system had stopped at the airport a few days earlier, and the FAA said that the airport control tower was unmanned.

Radio broadcasts from the last moments of flight offer an insight into the weather conditions that the pilots were facing and what it is like to land at the Montgomery GibbS Executive Airport. Todd strain of NBC 7.

The flight comes from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and held in Witchita, Kansas, in front of fuel before driving to San Diego, where the plane hit a home on the way down and fell into the middle of the street. At least 10 houses and ____ vehicles were damaged.

The passengers included Dave Shapiro, the co-founder of the music talent talent group of the Music Talent Agency, and two other employees, said the agency. FAA records show that Shapiro was a registered pilot, flight instructor and soil teacher. It is not clear whether Shapiro was on the controls when the aircraft was exit.

NBC 7 Investigates learn that one of the crash victims Daniel Williams, a friend of Shapiros and former drummer of the band The Devil Wears Prada, seemed to be. Before the start, Williams released several pictures on Instagram from the inside and outside the jets that would crash later.

A photo shows the plane before the start, which was published by musician Daniel Williams on social media.

While FAA officers said six people were on board, they have not yet confirmed how many people died in the aircraft crash. The NTSB said they didn't believe that there were any survivors.

At least 8 people on the floor suffered minor injuries such as smoke in breathing while trying to evacuate. Eddy said that everyone was treated at Miller Elementary, which served as an evacuation center for around 100 inhabitants who had to leave their houses after the crash.

Ariya Waterworth was one of them. She said she woke up to a “Whooshing noise” and then saw a huge fireball outside. One of the family's cars was “completely dissolved” and the other had extensive damage. Her farm was covered with aircraft parts, broken glass and rubble.

The video, which was recorded by Gilbert Gonzalez Gilbert Gonzalez, showed the neighbors, who desperately went from door to door to help people and pets be able to evacuate.

Jasmine, a resident who refused to use her last name, said NBC 7 that the plane crash occurred directly in front of her house and shook her house. She went straight away to draw the neighbors' attention. Then she heard her neighbor behind her cry that she couldn't get out.

“I screamed at my son to grab the ladder that we could put over our fence and help them,” she said.

The video, which was recorded on David Nero's ring camera, shows a fireball from the effects, moments after the crash.

Officials praised the military community to get together to evacuate the neighbors from the scene in many cases before the first aiders arrived.

“I can't praise her enough for what you did on site,” said Eddy. “For me it is a bit like a miracle, isn't it? A plane hits her house – I don't know exactly how they got out, but I know that neighbors helped them get out,” said Eddy. “And that is the beauty of what I love in this neighborhood, and the military that is militarily that looks at each other.”

The neighborhood consists of single -family houses and town houses.

The roof of a house was blackened and collapsed, with a piece of white metal being on the street in front of the street. Half a dozen fully charred cars on the street and tree members, glass and white and blue metal pieces were scattered on the street. At the end of the street, Black Smoke opened when the site continued.

The federal officials were expected to remove parts of the aircraft on Friday and do the task on Saturday. The city of San Diego then began the housing offer for service members in cooperation with Lincoln Housing, the group, the apartment members in the Murphy Canyon district on behalf of the military.
