I55 traffic today: at least 1, which were killed in the Dupage County truck crash near the Cass Avenue in Darien, Illinois State Police,

Darien, ill. (WLS) – After an accident on Interstate 55 in Dupage County, at least one person is dead on Friday afternoon, said Illinois State Police.

Chopper 7 was over the scene where a truck could be seen on the side of the road.

ISP said that the crash was fatal, but did not immediately say how many people died

What led to the crash was not immediately clear.

The ramp from IL-83 towards the south to the I-55 towards the south and the ramp from IL-83 to the north to the I-55 towards the south is closed over a longer period of time, said ISP.

ISP said the crash scene was active and did not provide further information immediately.
