Kash Patel Targets Press, Leckages as FBI director

April 28, 2025 | The FBI director announces the use of polygraphs to identify leaks

The FBI director Kash Patel instructed the office in April 2025 to carry out the employees of Polygraph tests in order to identify the sources behind leaks for the media, the Washington Post reported.

A spokesman told the post office that “the seriousness of the leaks in question triggered the polygraph because they contained potential damage to security protocols in the office”.

The investigations were reversed by the Prosecutor of General Pam Bondi, in which the guidelines between bidges from the era of journalists were protected from the confiscation of their records or were forced to testify during the examinations of LECK.

The new guidelines expanded the scope not only to leaks of classified material, but also “privileged and other sensitive information” that could contain details that are embarrassing for the administration or undermine their perspectives.

An official with a strictly secret release told the post office that it was a “toxic environment”.

“First you have the uncertainty not to know whether they are fired or not,” said the official. “Then there is the witch hunt to find the whistleblower that uncover the inability and poor treatment of agencies. They try to silence those that do not follow the party line.”

Similar efforts to eradicate alleged leakage devices and illoyal “deep state” employees, Defense Minister Pete Hegseth and secretary of home protection, Kristi NoEM, were also announced by Tulsi Gabard.
