Trainer Patty Gasso and the second OU-Softball team will open their best-of-three-ncaa superregional against Alabama on Friday on Love's Field.

The Sooners want to perform their ninth time in a row that women College World Series appear.

OU (48-7) went through the Norman regionally and exceeded his opponents 31-3 in a trio of five inning victories, Run Rule victories.

The Crimson Tide (40-21) also achieved its regional, but had to win a few entry wins against Virginia Tech to get ahead.
