MLC K Kavitha posted hours after her private letter to KCR in Telangana, like the letter to her father, who is also the BRS leader, was published in public. She claimed while KCR was “God”, he was surrounded by “demons” that damage the party from the inside.

She called the leak a “conspiracy” and said that in the letter she only put in words what others think in Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the state.

K Kavitha's letter controversy

Her remarks came up after a six -sided letter dated May 2, in which she expressed deep frustration about the strategy of party leadership. In the letter, she had accused her father of hardly criticizing the BJP during the 25th Foundation Day meeting of the party in Warangal. The personal letter was written after the public meeting in Warangal and was never intended for public distribution.

When she spoke to reporters when she returned from the USA, she said that the letter was published when she visited her son in America.

“Two weeks ago I wrote a letter to KCR. In the past, I have expressed my opinion in the past. I recently said that conspiracies and machinations were taking place because the letter was published, everyone in the party has to think about it.

Kavitha says 'KCR surrounded by demons'

She emphasized that it was necessary to investigate who is behind the leak of her personal letter and claimed that there were “demons” in the party that harm him from the inside.

“If the letter written on our party leader has been published, who is behind it? Must think about it. KCR is God. But there are demons around KCR … They cause damage. If the letter written by me, KCR's daughter has come out, what is the condition of other common people in the party? This has to be discussed,” she said.

She also made it clear that KCR will remain her leader and said that Telangana will thrive under his leadership.

“If we discuss and correct the small mistakes in the party and correct and go forward, the party will be cool for ten terms. The congress and the BJP parties have failed … KCR's leadership is the alternative to them,” she said.

Letter aroused the political debate

The congress party used Kavitha's letter to draw attention to problems within the BRS and the alleged connection with the BJP. Although KCR did not officially say, the letter led Kavitha's next movements to speak – whether they can break up, start a new party or try to change things from the inside.

The letter has triggered a new political debate, with opposition leaders using it to support their long -term claims against the BRS. The MLA Adi Srinivas Congress said that the letter proves what the congress said – that BRS and BJP secretly work together and that there are clear cracks in the government party.

The letter came at a time when her brother Kt Rama Rao led the BRS as his working president, while her father KCR was satisfied to withdraw from an active role.
