Video of Töthliche South La Hit-and Run scooter collision published by LAPD

The Los Angeles police department asks for the help of the public to find a hit-and-run driver who killed a woman when she drives in South Los Angeles in South Los Angeles last month.

The video of the collision was released by LAPD on Friday and showed the moment when a vehicle hit the scooter at a intersection and drove away. The 28 -year -old Kelly Calderon died at the crime scene and the police hope that the video will help identify the suspect that is at large.

On April 8, around midnight, the suspect drove to the Figueroa Street to the north in a dark limousine, possibly a Kia Optima from Kia K5, when it was at the Colden Avenue Calderon intersection. The driver continued after the collision without identifying himself or helping the victim.

The police say that the suspect's vehicle on the right side of the bonnet, the bumper and the passenger door causes great damage.
