Tecumseh -mann, who was arrested in connection with vehicle theft and crash

Jackson County, Kan. (Wibw) – A Tecumseh -man was arrested in connection with a vehicle theft and a crash on Thursday, May 22nd.

According to Sheriff Tim Morse, the deputy of a sheriff from Jackson County arrested a suspect that was allegedly involved in a car theft in Jackson County on Thursday at around 5 p.m.

The Jackson County's office received a report on a Chevy Impala, which was stolen from a residence in the 25,000 block by T. Road north of Holton, which was assumed to be recorded in the early morning.

The vehicle was located before lunch east of the U. Road on the 334th Road. Officials say that the vehicle had lost control and crashed from the street into the wood.

The MPs examined the scene and combined the theft with a suspect.

The MPs arrested the 23 -year -old Austin Riley Richard from Tecumseh in connection with the theft of the vehicle. He was booked in the Jackson County prison for theft, criminal employment and three cases serious violation of the registered perpetrator law.

The Brown County's Sheriff and the Kickapoo Police Authority helped the incident.
