Game 1 of the Western Conference Finale of the NHL was a figurative and literally slug festival with nine goals and a massive fight to end the competition, with the Dallas stars defeating the Edmonton Oilers 6: 3. Game 2 is another heated competition with the chance to get closer to the Stanley Cup final on the line.

The Oilers knew that they had to start to calm down the crowd in Dallas, and that was exactly what she did when Leon Draisaitl scored his sixth goal of the playoffs at 10:19 a.m. of the first period. After Dallas had thought of things, the Oilers scored a goal twice in 1:40 of the second period to take the lead with 3-1. This lead quickly disappeared when Edmonton's penalty gave up three power play goals in the first six minutes of the third half.

While they were near the power game nearby during the regular season (22% compared to 21.64% league average), the stars fell fire in game 1 and scored three different times with a man's advantage. Miro Heikanen scored his first goal of the playoffs only 32 seconds in the third half, with Mikael Granlund scored his fifth and matt Düchene for 5:58 years at 3:49 a.m. The stars would add an uniform goal (Tyler Seguin) and an empty network (ESA Lindell), which led to an impressive comeback victory.
