Miami Beach, Fla. (WSVN) – A brawl that broke out in the heart of Miami Beach's entertainment district ended with a man in his chest and another in handcuffs, the police said.

The incident took place on Thursday at 7.45 p.m. at 7.45 p.m.

According to the Miami Beach police, the violent chain of events with a street struggle began to initiate an answer after someone had pushed members of a lot.

The surveillance video shows the chaotic melee when two men wore white T-shirts in the middle of the streets, while some others pull them apart. The fight tightened when it moved to the sidewalk.

Moments later, the victim of the sidewalk, a dark red blood stain that spread over his shirt.

The arrest says that the man has suffered a “fresh stab wound in the middle of his chest”.

The safety material, which was recorded from the nearby Sherbrooke Hotel, captures another man who bends to pick up a blade and hold it in the right hand as he goes away.

The police report says that this man was the suspect and the video shows that he “leaves the area with a knife in his hand”.

When the armed man went to the overcrowded Collins Avenue, he saw how he comes by an inappropriate couple and pushed a baby into a stroller.

Police officers and paramedics from Miami Beach with Miami Beach Fire Rescue appeared at the crime scene seconds later.

First aiders concentrated on the bleeding man when the crews “life -saving measures [the] Victim.”

The paramedics put the man on a stretcher and brought him to a waiting ambulance.

The police said that the victim's lung was pierced and he had to be rushed to the Ryder Trauma Center of the Jackson Memorial Hospital.

In the meantime, the officials checked the surveillance video for references to the crime in order to track down the suspect.

Officers entered the Sherbrooke to access the video. It would not take long to catch the alleged stitch.

He was identified as a 48-year-old Derrick Madison, a construction worker from Miami.

On Friday afternoon he appeared in front of the Miami Dade judge Lody Jean, who read his indictment.

“He is accused of having stabbed someone near his heart,” she said, “a number of second degree attempted murder.”

Madison is also charged with battery and marijuana. It is recorded in the Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade without binding.
