K-State Baseball to organize NCAA tournament selection show on Monday

The Kansas State Baseball Team will hold a watch party for the NCAA Division I selection show on Monday, May 26th, while the Wildcats will find out their after season fate during the live broadcast on ESPN2 from 11:00 a.m. CT.

Fans and supporters are encouraged to get out and to be part of the excitement with K-State Athletics and the team, while they see the unveiling of the baseball tournament of NCAA Division I of 64.

The doors to the Shamrock zone are open at 10:30 a.m., the selection show being broadcast on ESPN2 at 11 a.m. CT. Participation in Wildcat fans can park on the west of the Bill Snyder Family Stadium and enter through the northwestern entrance of Bramlage Coliseum.

K-State, which ended the regular season 31-23 in total and 17-13 in Big 12 action, is forecast a team with a third seed by D1baseball and Baseball America for the regional rounds. A year ago, the wildcats came with an RPI in the high 40s and overall record of 32-24 from the Phillips 66 BIG 12 championships.

Junior Maximus Martin and graduate Keegan O'Connor received the all-Big-12 second team, while AJ Evasco was selected in the all-Freshman team. In addition, Seth Dardar, Jacob Frost and James Guyette were praised. Under head coach Pete Hughes, K-State 42 all-Big collected 12 honors.
