The restriction against the Maui doctor is released

Wailuku, Hawaii (AP) – a judge rejected a petition for a temporary injunction on Friday

Gerhardt Konig's wife initially submitted the petition after he supposedly pushed her to the edge of a cliff, tried to inject it with an injection, and then hit his head with a rock.

But her lawyer Brandon Segal informed the judge that the injunction was now unnecessary because Konig was held against him without a deposit during the criminal proceedings. Segal said his client could represent the petition if Konig's custody status changes.

The judge of the second court court, Bevanne J. Bowers on Maui, approved the application after Konig's lawyer had no objection.

Konig was not guilty in April to try an indictment for murder. He has been held without a deposit since his indictment on March 28.

Konig and his wife visited Oahu from their house in Maui to celebrate their birthday when he supposedly tried to kill her on the hiking trail, the prosecutors said.

The woman's petition said Konig accused his wife in December to have an affair and that they were in therapy and advice. She also said her husband sexually abused and attacked her.

The Associated Press does not call people that they have been sexually abused unless they report publicly.

Konig then took up a stone and hit her head about ten times, “and at the same time reached the back of the hair and hit her face into the ground,” the document says. She crawled two hikers who heard for help, and the hikers called 911.

The woman also told the police that she saw that “Gerhardt took two injections out of his pocket and tried to use her for her, but she was able to remove her from him,” said the police explanation.

She suffered several large cuts in front of the face and head and was taken to a hospital in a serious but stable state.

Konig fled from the scene and prompted hours of searching and closing a State Park, the police said. The officials arrested him on the same evening after a short chase.

Konig is anesthesist at Maui Health, which operates hospitals and clinics in the Maui district and is a subsidiary of Emperor Permanent. Maui Health said in a statement to media organizations that he was suspended until the examination.

Maui Health's online directory after the Wayback machine of the Internet Archive previously listed as a provider as a provider, but his name was no longer there on Wednesday.

In a statement, Kaiser Permanent said that Konig is not an employee, but is busy with an independent unit that is contractual with the provision of medical services. Kaiser said that it took advantage of his registration information and his ability to treat patients.
