Stars are upset by a lack of criminal calls to Roope Hintz injury and left important concerns

For the first time in the NHL story, five Finns took the ice to hear two other hymns from other nations than their own before the Puck fell for game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

Mikko Rantannen, Mikael Granlund, Miro Heikanen, Esa Lindell and Roope Hintz started as a five-man unit for the Dallas Stars-a list of listing fans, which were acquired and had a knee surgery.

It can take some time for this five-fin line-up to return to the ice.

Hintz, the Top Line Center of the stars, suffered a worrying leg injury at 3-0 against the Edmonton Oilers on Friday evening and left the game early after he could not put pressure on his left leg.

In just four minutes after the beginning of the third period, Hintz Oiler's striker Darnell crossed the nurse in the back, although it was not a punishment, and the nurse who set himself in his leg through Slashing Hintzing.

The star center remained on the ice in front of pain. His teammates and stars had to help him off the ice and the tunnel. He never returned.

“I think there were obviously some intentions,” said the stars striker Mason Marchment. “He is one of our best players, and now he has done it for the game.”

The nurse's slash was originally called a great punishment, but downgraded to a minor. The teammates of Stars Coach Pete Deboer and Hintz were frustrated about the office at that moment.

“Does anyone in this room believe that Connor McDavid is worn by the ice, it is not a five -minute major?” Said Deboer.

The NHL rule book also states that “a serious punishment must be assessed” and “if a great punishment for the veil is assessed, if an injury is due to slash, a punishment for misconduct of games must also be imposed.”

His health will now be a major concern for the stars if you progress in this Western Conference Finals series. Deboer had no update via Hintzes Status Postgame, just over 12 hours before the team for games 3 and 4 to Edmonton flight.

The stars were the healthiest they have been since December and had their full list all year round, which arrived in this round after they returned Hekans and Jason Robertson of injuries. Few teams can say that they have become healthier in the course of the playoffs, but the stars were in a unique position.

However, this completely healthy line -up took just over five seasons. And for a team that has sometimes tried to find an insult in these playoffs, the last thing they needed was to lose one of their best offensive generators.

“We need him in the line -up,” said Stars Center Wyatt Johnston. “He is just a great player. So good at both ends of the ice, so they don't want to be without such a guy.”

While some players like Robertson are still trying to get back to full speed or find their first destination in the weeks, Hintz belonged to Dallas.

He has 11 points (five goals and six templates) in 15 post -season games and an average of 18:11 ICE TIME.

Deboer pressed the keys with its lines in this post in this post and made adjustments in the three series. That was the case again on Friday evening when three of the four lines of the stars changed.

But since the beginning of the first round, his top line of Granlund, Hintz and rantons has remained the same. Since this line produced three hat tricks and numerous other goals, it was not necessary to split them up, even if Robertson, who normally plays in the top line, returned to the line -up.

In Hintz 'absence, the one consistent line of the stars is now missing a key piece. This is an important concern for a star team that has both difficulties to score goal opportunities and convert them.

Dallas was excluded at home for the fourth time this after season and for the first time after it was excluded once in 82 games of the regular season. Against an Oilers team that scores 3.83 goals per game, Dallas will need much more offensive, especially on the street on Rogers Place.

With Hintz 'status unknown, the stars are comfort when they know that they have been here before. This year they kept serious injuries to Heikanen, Marchment, Nils Lundkvist and Tyler Seguin, as well as minor injuries to about half of their line -up at various points of the year.

“We would not sit here if we couldn't deal with it or prepare for it to deal with it,” said Deboer.

You have held out before and have to do this again.

Otherwise, the stars could return home from Edmonton for Game 5 in the American Airlines Center in six days in six days in six days.
