Geek'd Con, the largest Popkultur comic convention in the Shreveport-Bossier City region, is back for the 10th anniversary. The fans were made for GEEK'D con 2025 for the line -up of celebrity guests, the new and old, on their way to Shreveport this August. With such a deep list of celebrity guests, the fans have a large list of films that they can see for their comic -cons preparation.

Geek'd Con has always introduced incredible film guests, I mean, her first show had the original actor for Chewbacca. This year the guest list contains a long film list. In order to keep the display short and easy, I have put together the essay films to see this year's show.

As a bonus, we found in the modern age of one million different streaming apps where each of these films is available.

If you are a fan of a certain guest like Jason Lee, you are welcome to see what you make happy, but for a good general primer before Geek'd Con 2025 are the films that you should watch:

  1. Scream (1996) – – Selected guest: Rose McGowan
A thriller horror classic, Scream Actors are not a stranger from Geek'd con. The legendary Scream Queen Rose McGowan from the film presented will always be worth a Rewatch in Shreveport in this Auguts.
Where to watch Scream: HBO Max
  2. Mallrats (1995) – – Selected guest: Jason Lee, Jeremy London, Ethan Suplee
The second feature film by Kevin Smith, another earlier Geek'd con guest, Mallrat If you have become a cult classic for fans, but don't let it go away when you have never seen the film. Mallrat has a following decades later for a certain reason.
Where to watch Mallrat: Amazon Prime Video
  3. Ferris Buellers Free Day (1986) – – Selected guest: Alan Ruck
The films on this list Ferris Buellers Free Day Has the best reviews across the board, and when you have seen the film, it shouldn't be too surprising. If you are younger and have not seen the film, it seems like a kitsch dramadie from the 1980s, but it's a pleasant watch, no matter how age.
Where to watch Ferris Buoller's day off: Plutotv
  4. Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) – – Selected guest: Barry Bostwick
The oldest film on the list is the one who could be the essentials on this list if it does not apply to Geek'd Consum. Rocky Horror Picture Show is like lightening in a bottle, films like this simply no longer exist. Worth at least one watch.
Where to watch Rocky horror picture show: Unfortunately, no streaming service is wearing the film, but it can be bought online.
  5. kingpin (1996) – – Selected guest: Vanessa Angel
The second 90s comedy on the list, kingpin Is a funny film in every season. While Vanessa Angel is the attraction for Geek'd Con this year, Woody Harelson has a moment to shine his comedic side.
    Where to watch Kingpin: Paramount+
  6. Mortal Kombat (1995) – – Selected guest: Francois Petit, Chris Casamassa
The 1995 Mortal Kombat Is not the biggest film ever, but none of the other films on this list is either interested? Is the film a little cheesy and difficult to follow? Maybe, possibly yes. But is it a fun action film with iconic video game characters? Absouultly.
Where to watch Mortal Kombat: Another who unfortunately cannot stream, but it can also be bought online.
  7. Teenage mutant ninja turtles (1990) – – Selected guest: Brian Tochi, Ernie Reyes Jr., Francois Chau, Kenn Scott, Robbie Rist
The first of many films from the legendary Teenage mutant ninja turtles Franchise, who is a kitschy film that clearly made for a younger audience in the 1990s. Before you judge, it doesn't have to be a bad thing. Get a few friends together and like to laugh at the Slapstick campaign as if you are doing a little Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Where to watch Teenage mutant ninja turtles: At the time of writing, this no longer managed to stream. Fortunately, you will find it online for cheap.
  8. Horror (2016) – – Selected guest: David Howard Thornton, Samantha Scaffidi
The Scare Movie Franchise and it is the clown killer art of the clown have become modern horror stones since the first Slahser in 2016. When it comes to Slasher films, the clown has gripped the audience with brutal but still slapstick gore and violence. As a trilogy of films so far, the franchise has not fulfilled the fate of sequels, which, in contrast to many horror franchise companies, have been evaluated beforehand.
Where to watch Horror: Tubi, Plutotv, Roku channel
  9. Horror 2 (2022) – –
Surprise, art, the clown is again in the film with the best rated franchise. The first film was shot with a budget of less than 60,000 US dollars, which is part of why the term only occurred for an hour and 25 minutes. The second film gave the studio a much larger budget to work and shows the reviews and the fan reaction.
Where to watch Horror 2: Peacocks, plutotv
  10. Horror 3 (2024) – –
Is it so surprising? I thought about listing the other two Ninja Turtles films, but the trilogy of Scare Movies is a worthy watch for any horror fans who are not afraid of a little bloodshed.
Where to watch Horror 3: Amazon Prime Video, Roku Channel
