Mann found in Hampton Bays, who was sought in Georgia, was arrested for sex crimes

A man found in Hampton Bays and was sought in Georgia was arrested for sex crimes in which a minor was involved, the New York state police said.

The investigators say that the victim's mother has found several inappropriate pictures and videos that were exchanged between the minor in Duluth, Georgia, and the 41-year-old Oswin Guillen Padilla.

The police in Georgia contacted the New York State Police to find Guillen Padilla. The soldiers found the suspect in a house in Gardenia Avenue on Thursday.

According to the police, Guillen admitted PADILLA to use social media accounts to sexually explicit content from minors, including Messenger, WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, TikTok and Instagram.

News 12 went to the house where the police said they found him.

A man who identified himself as the owner of the house spoke with news 12 in Spanish.

He would not go to the camera, but said that Guillen Padilla visited his sister, which rented part of the house.

Brenda Johannesen from Hampton Bays says that the news of this arrest questions and concerns about the stay in her block.

“What can we do to ensure that the people who live in our community are safe,” she said.

Guillen Padilla is charged in Georgia before the harassment of children by electronic equipment and four cases of a child's sexual performance in New York.

He is delivered to Georgia to raise charges there.
