Pascal Siakam scored 39 points with a playoff career, and the Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 114-109 for a 2-0 lead in the final of the Eastern Conference.

The Indiana Pacers are in the middle of the chance to play for a difficult to tackle NBA title when they drive home in the Eastern Conference final, but they could prefer to stay exactly where they are.

Pascal Siakam scored a playoff career high of 39 points on Friday evening when the Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 114-109.

The result means that after the first two games in the series in the Madison Square Garden Home Arena, Knicks' 2-0 lead in the playoffs.

Game 3 is in Indiana on Sunday evening, which will rock the Indianapolis 500 all day long. The Pacers can only hope to be as good as on the go, where they won six games in a row since they fell into Milwaukee in Milwaukee in game 3 of the first round.

“We still have a long way ahead of us and it is only more difficult for us,” said Siakam.

Myles Turner added 16 points and Tyrese Haliburton had 14 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Pacers, who had lost in their only NBA final against the Lakers in 2000.

Siakam ended in one night, nobody else in the top -class Pacers, 15 for 23 for 23.

“Special game,” said Pacers coach Rick Carlisle. “In the first half he was the guy who got us running and brought us through some difficult distances.”

Jalen Brunson had 36 points and 11 assists for the Knicks who need a quick turn or the first appearance in the conference final in 25 years will be short. They defended much better after their collapse in a loss of 138-135 in game 1, but after a bad start to the fourth quarter could not find enough gate to come back.

Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns each had 20 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks, but the cities only played 28 minutes when coach Tom Thibodeau with Backup Mitchell Robinson, a much better defender who scored nine rebounds longer.

No team lost the first two games at home and returned to win a series in the conference final.

“If you go to the fourth quarter, it is a TIE ball game. We just have to play better games and more competitions,” said Thibodeau.

It was tied after three after three before the Pacers opened the fourth with a 13: 4 run, around 94-85 on Siakams 3 pointers with 9:17. They would quickly return the edge every time the kinks got any swing and was 110-100 after another baskam of Siakam with 2:45 to play.

The Knicks scored nine direct points to achieve 110-109 on Josh Harts basket. Aaron Nesmith did two free throws for the Pacers, Brunson made himself well with a 3-point attempt and gymnast ended it with two free throws.

The 50th playoff meeting between the competitors of the Pacers 28-22, all of their defensive battles in the nineties since 1993 rather than the shootout of two nights earlier.

Indiana raced for a 19:9 lead, but the Knicks quickly caught them when Robinson and Deice McBride occurred, and the game remained within a single-digit head for almost the rest of the night.
