China students go 2 km to be seriously ill for a final photo, Boy dies the next day

Millions of people in China were moved by a special final photo that a group of teenagers took in the hospital with their classmate on the last day of his life.

On May 17th, more than 50 pupils of a Junior Secondary School graduation class in the Yilong Middle School in the province of Sichuan in Southwest China went more than two kilometers from school to the Yilong Volkskrankenhaus with their teachers.

They were there to take a special final photo with their bedridden classmate Ren Junjie.

The 15-year-old was diagnosed with a non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer that was developed in the lymphatic system last year, and left school so that it could be treated.

He went to another city for better treatment and was recently taken to the hospital at home.

Although it only lasted one month before the secondary school senior recording examinations, which many for a life-ended test, Ren father said that all classmates came from his son when the teacher suggested the group photo idea.
