Water leaf damages high-tech-USC information buildings in USC

All seven floors of a recently built high-tech information building at USC were affected by a water leak overnight this week, an official said.

The department for the university's facility and administrative department confirmed that the leak comes from the attic of the Ginsburg Hall on Wednesday, but did not comment on the extent of the damage.

Members of the team reacted to the planning and management of the facilities when the leak was reported, the water was switched off and repaired, the department announced in a statement to The Times on Friday. There is no valued timeline how long repairs will take.

Researchers who work in the Ginsburg Hall were notified to go to the building and check their equipment, the university said in its explanation, but the building was closed for repair.
