The High School Softball Teams across the State of Texas will be fighting for a place in the state championships this weekend.

The Texas High School softball playoffs will continue with state semi -finals this week. The games are to be played on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in brackets 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a and 6a.

This year, the above -mentioned classes will be divided into two departments for the first time, which means that two state champions are crowned in each class. The semi-final round follows a best-of-3 series format, with the first school coming up to two wins for the championship round.
