Ai Ogura withdraws from the MotoGP British GP due to injuries

After a possible fracture for its right tibia, the Trackhouse MotoGP Rider Ai Ogura will not take part in any further meetings in the British Grand Prix.

The Aprilia Satellite squad published an explanation this morning after Ogura crashed during the FP1 meeting on Friday and the Japanese Moto2 champion cannot run further in Silverstone this weekend.

“After the accident that AI suffered in Turn 2 in Free Practice 1 on Friday, the injury he had suffered was diagnosed as a possible fracture at the head of his right Tibia.

“He was declared the rest of the United Kingdom's Grand Prix for the rest of the UK of the United Kingdom and will return to Barcelona for further tests.

“The Trackhouse MotoGP team will publish more messages about the state of AI and in the meantime would like a quick recovery.”

The MotoGP rookie is sitting this weekend after it ended the last Grand Prix in France, which was won by the home hero Johann Zarco.
